The Thornhill Arms, Rushton - 11:30am - 1:30pm

ALL WELCOME

ABOUT US

Desborough and District Humanists was established to give non-religious people an opportunity to meet like-minded people.

Gathering once a month, we socialise and discuss a variety of topics including philopsophy, current affairs, politics and ethics.

We are always looking for new people to join us and welcome new ideas for promoting Humanism in the local area.

ABOUT HUMANISM

Secular humanism is a philosophy that emphasizes reason, ethics, and human welfare. It rejects supernatural and religious beliefs, instead focusing on the potential of human beings to create a better world through science, critical thinking, and compassion. This worldview values individual freedom, social justice, and the pursuit of knowledge and meaningful living.
